3 Private Nooks in the Coachella Valley

We enjoy eating out and tasting a variety of cultural cuisines. It is one of our favorite things to do. We have thought of starting our own show being connoisseurs. During this “closure” we have been looking for places to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere around us. With this COVID pandemic, we respect others and wear the masks when asked to, but we do believe that YAH will sustain us too. I recount experiences at three restaurants we have recently found here in the Coachella Valley. They have treated us with so much respect and welcomed us with open arms into their nooks/patios which could not be seen out in the open. They were either in the back, the side, or on the rooftops. Do you know how enjoyable it was to sit down and dine out but in their restaurants? They were Lovely. I will blow the trumpet for their acts of kindness and service.

AZUCAR Restaurant:

Enjoy this restaurant on the rooftop. They were so kind to take us upstairs and asked us to come back. They want people to come and enjoy. Let us support them as much as we can or more will be jobless. Very pleasantly surprised with their Tapas style of menu and their refreshing drinks.

Yiannis Greek Taverna Restaurant:

Yianni was so accommodating, he lead us out to the back patio. A “secret courtyard” we called it with hanging grapevines, pomegranates, and a wall fountain. So refreshing and peaceful. The food was freshly made and soooo delicious!

Monsoon Indian Cuisine:

This is the second time we have eaten here and they opened their side courtyard for us. They are so humble and give us eye to eye contact with conversation. The food is homemade, and one of our favorite Indian Cuisines. A must go to eat place!

You see, we believe in supporting small locally owned businesses as much as possible. How do we do this? Through eating out at their restaurants, we can give back to the community we love. We try and do this in all of the places He has sent us. With regards to our Father Yah, I will boast on Him because we could not do it without His aid. With that said, we can still go out at least once a week and when we do, we are strategically choosing our gastronomic locations. In YAH, we are rich and sustained.

Matthew 7:7-12

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! 12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
