This was a 3.5 miles across from the Art Smith Trail. You can park your car across the street. Be careful when you cross Highway 74. If you start up early in the morning, you can catch much of the shade from the hills. The flowers are spectacular from the Prickly Pear of the Cacti.

Mountain Bikers also enjoy the paths with the hikers. This is a relaxing hike and not so strenuous. You can easily do a short loop but as soon as you make it to the top, you can enjoy the view of Palm Desert.
